Giant Slayers was a sermon series to share the stories of people in the Bible who accomplished “big things.” The Bible Character David is pictured hurling a stone at Goliath. The opacity in the characters is lowered to emphasize the movement in the background image. The lead pastor wanted to have the series continue for Christmas. To make it more “Christmasy,” I added Santa hats on David and Goliath. The third design was printed and posted on bathroom stalls to advertise scheduled events.
Social Media samples, located at the bottom of the webpage, also represent content I made for their Instagram and Facebook pages. I created graphics and wrote posts to encourage engagement among the community, show potential visitors what the church is like, and have sharable graphics to invite newcomers to the church. The bottom portion of this image shows the start of a new sermon series and continues with content that went along with that series. The photos at the top show the pictures posted before the Christmas service. I chose these photos to give newcomers an idea of the church’s services, building, and community, introduce the kid’s check-in process for newcomers, and help transition followers’ focus to the holiday season.
